Beaconsfield township is located 46km south-east of Melbourne CBD on the Old Princes Hwy, a suburb on Melbourne's fringe south-east. The main street shopping strip and light industry are on the Princes Hwy, there are 2 schools, Beaconsfield Primary and St Francis Xavier College, some nice parks and recreation areas, Central Hotel, C.F.A Fire Station, Ambulance Service, Railway Station, Post Office, Beaconsfield Community Complex, and many retail shops, fine restaurants and take away food outlets.  A BPA Power Purchasing Event has been organised the following public information days where AGL and Powerdirect representatives will be in attendance to talk to you face to face.

When: Friday 27th & Saturday 28th January, 2012

Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th February, 2012

Times: 9.00am and 3.00pm.

Where: Cardinia Cultural Centre, Lakeside Blvd, Pakenham

(Please bring along a copy of your latest energy bills to discuss an energy option available to you)

 

The Cardinia Shire Council along with consultation of community groups is currently working on the Beaconsfield Structure Plan, for further information and updates please see Council's website, there is an online survey available that will assist Council in identifying some current issues, opportunities and constraints within Beaconsfield
