Your Beaconsfield Progress Association, Inc.
Is a voluntary organisation enacted to represent the
residents and businesses of Beaconsfield dealing with the Cardinia Shire
Council and other government and non-government bodies.
Over the years, many issues, large and small, have been taken up by the BPA.
More recently these include; road improvement and safety, housing development,
new community Centre, parking problems, stray animals, Beaconsfield Township
Strategy, conservation issues and much more.
Public forums are organised when these a needed to allow residents to openly discuss the
issues at hand with each other and the councillors and bureaucrats responsible.
An overview of these important meetings are published in the Beaconsfield
Banner, the official publication of the Beaconsfield Progress Association.
The Beaconsfield Progress Association is incorporated as a not-for-profit
organisation with its own constitution. The executive committee is elected at
the Annual General Meeting held in October of each year. The election to the
committee is open to all residents and this is encouraged.
Meetings are held every 3rd Tuesday of the month, at the Beaconsfield
Community Complex, O'Neil Road, starting at 7.30pm. We encourage and welcome
all residents to the these meetings. Come and air your concerns/opinions,
raise issues, or just come for some information and see the BPA in action.
